4R Angus Farm

4R Angus Farm is located in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Our original herd of eleven (11) full blooded black Angus yearling heifers were purchased from a family friend back in 2004. In 2006 we purchased our first registered black Angus bull and enjoyed our first crop of calves in early 2007. Since then we have utilized careful herd management to grow our herd to over 50 producing cows.

Our herd enjoys a simple life, grazing in open pastures, growing at their natural pace and on their native diet. In addition to free range pasture and hay, they are given free choice of salt, all natural mineral blocks and an endless supply of fresh water via automatic watering tanks. We also produce and harvest all our hay specifically for our livestock.

​All beef is processed at a local USDA inspected facility to ensure proper handling, labeling and packaging. Processing includes beef cuts being labeled with contents and weight, then flash frozen in VACUUM packaging to maintain the fresh taste we all want!
